How MAKA Fits Canopies
Canopy fitment on a BYD Shark 6 involves more than measuring the tub. Central locking, internal lighting, powered lift systems and any wiring fed through to the tub all need to be routed and tested correctly the first time, whether the canopy is chassis-mounted or removable.

Where are your canopies fitted?
All canopy fitments happen at our Baringa, Queensland workshop. If you’re outside the area, ask us about freight-in fitment or remote consultation.
Can a canopy be added to a full build package?
Yes. A canopy is part of several MAKA packages, including Tuff Tradie and The Everything. It can also be fitted on its own or added to any other package as an extra.
What’s the difference between a chassis-mount and a removable canopy?
A chassis-mount canopy bolts directly to the chassis as a permanent fitment. A removable canopy sits on the tray and lifts off when you want to run the tray on its own. We’ll help you work out which one suits how you actually use the vehicle.
